My story
Hi there! Welcome to my Food Blog!
I'm Deborah. I am a food lover who enjoys cooking healthy and exciting recipes! I am Italian, and most of all, the meals I have learned to make are thanks to my family. I currently work in an Italian restaurant where they have taught me some tips and recipes that I cannot wait to share with you all. I hope to pass on my excitement about cooking to you! Cook, Eat and Repeat! |
Many of us would rather order in than cook; while sometimes it is easier and more convenient to do so, experimenting with new simple recipes can be fun!
I am here to share my experience on how I got into cooking.
Growing up in a small town in the South of Italy, my family would gather around to cook at all times, whether it was for a special occasion, such as a birthday celebration, or just for fun on a summer night. My mom and family would always include me in helping them out to cook, considering I was just a little girl.
The older I got, the more I pushed myself to learn the art of cooking, and once I moved to the USA well, I had no choice but to cook for myself. So little by little, I did. I had started working at an Italian restaurant, and fortunately, the chef would teach me some of his tips for preparing delicious meals and spoiling me with food at all times. He would always say to me that the one ingredient needed in every meal was love. As cheesy as it sounds, it's true.
You have to do things with love and passion, and I promise you won't be disappointed!
